Avianca receives the award for customer service in social media​


As part of the second edition of the Ibero-American Social Media Awards, which recognizes the best campaigns and social media management, Avianca was given the award, for the second consecutive year, for the best company work and customer service, beating more than 250 brands and 450 social media management cases.

In the social media profiles an average of 23,000 cases are serviced per month and users have an average response time of 42 minutes. During 2012, 331,878 cases were handled from April.​
