Are you traveling with any of our partner airlines?
The baggage policy of the airline that made the first continental crossing (between America and Europe, and Africa, Asia and Oceania) will be respected. Check more information about baggage with our partner airlines.
What else can you take as carry-on baggage?
You can transport some of the following items in the cabin under your sole care and at no additional cost, as long as their size, volume and weight do not inconvenience other people or obstruct emergency exits, aisles or doors. They must not affect flight safety.
According to the regulations of the aviation authorities, carry-on baggage must fit into the overhead bin or under the front seat. If the carry-on baggage is too large or irregular in shape, which prohibits it from being stowed in the set locations, and it does not comply with the standard conditions, it will not be accepted and must be checked in and sent to the aircraft hold. You will be given a bag tag for the baggage check-in. These cabin baggage restrictions can be applied even after boarding has started.
On international flights, if baggage exceeds the standard baggage allowance policy it will be subject to a charge per additional piece according to the region of travel.
Can you take a pet as carry-on baggage?
This depends on the type of pet. Please see more information in our pet transportation section.
Do you need to take a musical instrument, baby stroller or a work of art with you?
Sometimes you can transport them as carry-on baggage. Please check our section on special baggage.
Items such as knives, box cutters, folding or retractable blades, ice picks, scissors, sharp-edged items and/or similar objects, are prohibited in your carry-on baggage, as they are considered dangerous goods.
