Miles Goal competition

If you’re a LifeMiles member and you plan to travel during the World Cup, go to the VIP Lounges* and participate for one of the 60 packages of 50,000 miles.

Requirements to participate

  1. ​You must be an adult. 

  2. You must be a LifeMiles member. 

  3. You must have access to the participating VIP Lounges*. 

  4. You must have a ticket with an outbound and/or return flight during the times the activity is valid. 

  5. Accept the terms and conditions of the activity.

What do you need to do?

  1. ​Enter your information (LifeMiles frequent flyer number, ticket number and seat assigned on the corresponding flight) in the tablets you’ll find in each of the VIP Lounges*.

  2. The system will give you two random questions about Avianca, LifeMiles or soccer in general.

  3. If you get two questions right you'll enter the prize draw for one of the 60 packages of 50,000 miles.​

Validity of the Miles Goal competition

The activity starts on Thursday June 12, 2014 and ends on Sunday July 13, 2014. It will be active during the days that the World Cup matches are scheduled.

Selection of the winners and delivery of the prize 

The draw to define the 60 winners will be carried out on July 29, 2014, in the administrative building of Avianca and in the presence of a delegate of the Administrative Office of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá.

The miles will be credited in the name of the person who registered in the application, within thirty (30) business days from the expiration date of the activity.

Prize conditions and restrictions

  • ​The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-endorsable, nor is it redeemable for cash or other products.

  • LifeMiles will be responsible for accumulating miles in the LifeMiles account of each of the winners.

  • The miles must be used according to the Terms and Conditions of the LifeMiles program.

  • The miles may not be used to move up a level in the LifeMiles program.

  • The winner may only receive one package of miles regardless of the number of times they enter the competition.

Other applicable conditions

  • If the winner does not accept the prize or the conditions contained in these regulations, it will be considered that they have waived the right to the prize. It will also be understood that they also waive the right to any claims that may be exercised at any instance including administrative instances and/or judicial bodies, and also waive the right to undertake any actions for total or partial compensation against LifeMiles, Avianca, Taca and/or its affiliates, controlling and related companies.

  • It is the responsibility of each member to correctly register their data in the application and make sure the information in their LifeMiles account is properly updated, for contact purposes, if they are selected as a winner.

  • Avianca may decide to disqualify any of the participants in this activity from participating if it detects any fraudulent action.

  • Employees, collaborators and /or officers of Avianca, Taca, LifeMiles or its affiliates and/or related companies may not participate. Neither may collaborators of the agencies Sancho and Sistole. 

  • People who do not agree with these rules must abstain from participating in the activity.
