Remember that when you receive your ticket it will have both El Dorado International Airport (T1) and Puente Aereo Terminal (T2) on it.​

​​Domestic connections within El Dorado International Airport T


If you’re flying in on a domestic flight that arrives at the El Dorado International Airport (T1) and you have a domestic connection departing from the same terminal.


  You‘ll arrive at the unloading area or mezzanine. 

  When the aircraft is in a remote position you’ll be taken by bus to level 1, through the baggage area. 

  Locate the information screens to verify the boarding gate for your next flight. 

  Go up the stairs to level 2 to find your boarding gate.​

​Domestic connections between the El Dorado International Airport (T1) and the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2)

  • If you’re flying in on a domestic flight that arrives at the El Dorado International Airport (T1) and you have a domestic connection departing from the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2).


 

  You’ll arrive at the unloading area or mezzanine. 

  Go down the stairs to level 1 to locate the Domestic Connections Point in the baggage area. 

  When the plane stays in a remote position you’ll be taken by bus to level 1, through the baggage area. 

  Take the bus to Puente Aereo Terminal (T2).

  On arrival at the Connections Module in Puente Aereo Terminal (T2) we’ll tell you the boarding gate or you can locate the information screens to verify the boarding gate for your next flight. 

  • If you’re flying in on a domestic flight that arrives at the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2) and you have a domestic connection that departs from  El Dorado International Airport (T1).


  When you arrive at Terminal 2 Puente Aéreo, locate the Connections Module in the baggage area. 

  One of the buses will drive you to El Dorado International Airport (T1)

  Locate the information screens to verify the boarding gate for your next flight. 

  Go up the stairs to level 2 to find your boarding gate.​

​Connections between domestic and international flights within the El Dorado International Airport (T1)

  • ​If you’re flying in on a domestic flight that arrives at the El Dorado International Airport (T1) and you have an international connection with Avianca or a Star Alliance member airline.



  Check that the connecting flight and/or final destination are shown on your boarding pass and baggage stub. 

  You’ll arrive at the unloading area or mezzanine. 

  Go down the stairs to get to level 1, to the baggage area, and leave the domestic pier. 

  When the plane arrives in a remote position you’ll be taken by bus to level 1, through the baggage area. 

  Go up the stairs to get to level 2.

  Locate the information screens to verify the boarding gate of your next flight. 

  Go through the Migration and Security controls to reach the boarding gate of your next flight.​

  • If you’re flying in on an international flight via Avianca or any of the member airlines of Star Alliance and you have a domestic connection departing from the El Dorado International Airport (T1)




  Check that the connecting flight and/or final destination are shown on your boarding pass and baggage stub.

  You’ll arrive at the unloading area or mezzanine. 

  Go through Migration. 

  Go down the stairs to get to level 1.

  Go through National Customs and exit the International Pier.

  Go up the stairs to get to Level 2 within the Domestic Pier of the same terminal and locate the boarding gate for your next flight.​

​Domestic and international connections between the El Dorado International Airport (T1) and the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2)

  • If you’re flying in on an international flight via Avianca or any of the member airlines of Star Alliance and you have a domestic connection departing from the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2).



  Check that the connecting flight and/or final destination are shown on your boarding pass and baggage stub.

  You’ll arrive at the unloading area or mezzanine. 

  Go through Migration. 

  Go down the stairs to get to level 1.

  Go through National Customs and exit the International Pier.

  Locate the Connections Point and board the bus that will take you to Puente Aereo Terminal (T2).

  On arrival at the Connections Module in Puente Aereo Terminal (T2) we’ll tell you what your new boarding gate number is or you can locate the information screens to check the boarding gate for your next flight. ​ 

  • If you’re flying in on a domestic flight arriving at the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2) and you have an international connection with Avianca or a Star Alliance​ member airline.



  On arrival in Terminal 2 Puente Aéreo, locate the baggage area in the Connections Module. 

  Take one of the buses that will lead you to El Dorado International Airport (T1)

  Go up the stairs to level 2. 

  Locate the information screens to verify the boarding gate for your next flight. 

  Go through Migration and Security controls to reach the boarding gate for your next flight.​

Domestic or international connections with other airlines

  • On arrival in El Dorado International Airport (T1), you must claim your baggage in Level 1, go toward the exit and go up to level 2 to carry out the connection process in the modules of the other airlines.​
  • On arrival at the Puente Aereo Terminal (T2), you must claim your baggage, go toward the exit and transfer you to El Dorado International Airport (T1) to carry out the connection process in the modules of the other airlines.
