Actually, they’re from the center of the country, but their passion for cooking and for research led them to the northern coast, where they dedicated themselves to researching the cuisines and products of the area; from their research come the supplies for their “pop-up dinners”, which they hold weekly and which let diners enter into the culinary identity of the city and the country.

Coconut rice

After your visit to Cartagena you will definitely love coconut rice, so we’ll make your life a little easier and leave you this easy recipe for preparing this delicacy:

    Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of rice 
  • 1 coconut
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

    Directios:

  1. Split the coconut. Save the water. Grate the coconut and blend it with two cups of hot water. Strain and set to boil on low heat.
  2. When it comes to a boil, add the sugar and salt.
  3. Add the rice and cook on very low heat for 30 minutes.
  4. Enjoy!
