Special baggage

To provide you a better service, have in mind that when you travel with us, you can transport some special items that you can use during your trip. The following items are considered part of the free baggage allowance and you can transport them as a piece at no additional cost.

Baby items: strollers, child restraint seats

If you paid a full infant fare, which corresponds to the same value for an adult fare, you are allowed to use a special car seat for transporting babies, as long as it can be adjusted to fit the aircraft seat.

  • A small baby stroller can travel in the passenger cabin if there is space to store it, otherwise if there is no space it will be accepted as checked baggage and it must be protected in a plastic bag.
  • Baby carriers cannot be used during take-off or landing.

Below we explain the conditions and recommendations for transporting them:

Orthopedic devices: wheelchairs, gurneys, walkers and crutches

  • Wheelchair in use: A wheelchair that is being used (out of its box, being used by the passenger) may be taken in addition to the baggage allowance according to the paid fare without charge.
  • Wheelchair as baggage: A wheelchair that is not being used, but is required by the Passenger at the destination city, can be taken in addition to the baggage allowance according to the paid fare without charge., but it will be subject to weight and size limitations, as is any normal piece of baggage.

If a passenger is traveling with 2 wheelchairs, they can take them in addition to the baggage allowance according to the paid fare without charge.
