Avianca releases new benefits for LifeMiles clients
Women who will soon be mothers will be able to keep their LifeMiles status for a year, even if they reduce the number of flights as a result of their condition. LifeMiles clients will now be able to carry out the pre-registration to the program directly at airports.
In order to provide more benefits to frequent travelers, Avianca has adjusted its portfolio of services in the LifeMiles program.
Elite Maternity: A new product designed to recognize preference and loyalty for LifeMiles clients who will soon become mothers. The Airline will maintain their status, adapting their mileage to the flight frequency registered during the previous year, allowing them to maintain or reach the status for the new period, even if they reduce the number of flights.
In order to receive this benefit, mothers must be Elite LifeMiles clients (Silver, Gold or Diamond) and request the benefit through our Call Center. To do so, they must have their baby’s birth certificate and they have up to 12 months after the baby’s birth to exercise their request.
Pre-registration to the program: Avianca increases the number of ways to register with the LifeMiles program through its Call Center, sales offices, web page or LifeMiles app. All this in addition to the ‘pre-registration’ process, which may be performed at currently authorized points of sale and airports: Bogota, Lima, Cuzco, El Salvador, Panama, Dallas, Cartagena and Medellin. This way, clients may accumulate miles as of their first trip and have access to all the benefits provided for its exclusive members.
Once the basic information is registered, clients will receive their LifeMiles frequent flyer card with a pre-assigned number immediately. The client may enjoy all the benefits of the program once he or she receives notification and instructions for use via email.
