Avianca Strengthens Its Florida Operations: Launches New Direct Routes fromFort Lauderdale to Barranquilla and Cali

  • The new routes will begin operations on July 15, 2026, with daily flights, as part of the airline’s commitment to further strengthening its connectivity to the United States.
  • Avianca currently operates more than 400 weekly flights to and from the United States, connecting 14 cities in Latin America with more than 80 destinations across the Americas and Europe through its network.

Fort Lauderdale, May 28, 2026. Avianca, part of Grupo Abra, continues to strengthen its international route network with the announcement of ticket sales for its new direct routes connecting Fort Lauderdale with Barranquilla and Cali. These new connections will expand connectivity opportunities between the United States and Colombia.
