Avianca Expands Travel Flexibility Options for Passengers With Tickets to and From Venezuela
Bogotá, June 26, 2026 — In continued support of customers affected by the earthquake in Venezuela, Avianca has expanded its travel flexibility measures for passengers booked to travel on the Bogotá-Caracas-Bogotá route between June 24 and July 15, 2026.
Customers may choose from the following options at no additional cost:

Change of travel date: Rebook your flight for travel through Aug. 31, 2026, with no change fee or fare difference, subject to availability.

Route change: Travel to or from Cúcuta or Riohacha at no additional cost, subject to availability. Requests must be made through Avianca’s Contact Center.

Refund: Request a full refund for any unused portions of the itinerary.
- For tickets purchased through Avianca’s direct channels — avianca.com, the Contact Center or a sales office — refund requests may be submitted through those same channels.
- For tickets purchased through a travel agency, the request must be submitted directly through that agency.
Avianca encourages all passengers to check their flight status on avianca.com and closely monitor notifications sent through the airline’s official channels.
