Bogotá, June 27, 2026. As part of the actions to support the mobility of people affected by the emergency in Venezuela, as well as friends, relatives, and rescue organizations, Avianca has temporarily opened sales for flights between Bogotá and Valencia through July 10, at special fares. This period may be extended depending on how the situation evolves.
This measure will help maintain air connectivity between Colombia and Venezuela while operations at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía are restored. It will also allow the continued transport of rescue workers, doctors, emergency response personnel, and humanitarian aid supporting relief efforts, in coordination with Avianca’s social partners, including the Colombian Red Cross, Ruta Animal, ABACO, and the Colombian Civil Air Patrol.
Avianca will offer two daily frequencies operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, on schedules similar to those of the Bogotá–Caracas route, to facilitate the reaccommodation of passengers who had already purchased tickets, as well as the mobility of other travelers who require transportation during this situation.
