- If your elite program is Star Alliance Gold or Smiles Gold or Diamond, you are entitled to 1 additional piece at no extra cost on flights operated by Avianca, as long as your fare allows it (Basic and Light fares do not qualify for this benefit). Therefore, any additional pieces beyond those mentioned will be subject to a charge.
- If you are a LifeMiles elite member, please note that the additional pieces received as an elite benefit may vary depending on the airline operating the flight. Extra pieces will be subject to a charge.
- Star Alliance Gold members traveling in First Class or Business Class with itineraries including two or more Star Alliance airlines may carry up to 2 carry-on bags.
