Silvia Mosquera Avianca Holdings' new Vice President

As of November 15, Silvia Mosquera joins Avianca Holdings as Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Revenue.

Her mission will focus on defining the commercial strategy and marketing plan for the airline, including sales processes, prices, demand, capacity and distribution channels.

Silvia Mosquera has had an outstanding career in the aviation industry. She worked at Iberia Express, Vueling and Clickair, where she strengthened her experience in network strategic planning, income management, sales, e-Commerce and marketing.

As the leader of Avianca’s commercial strategy, and in line with the industry’s competitive environment, she will focus her work on designing and strengthening the travel products and services portfolio, as well as the distribution channels, guaranteeing a high-value offer to those who choose Avianca to fly to America and the world, through its route network that includes 105 direct destinations in 28 countries in America and Europe.

Silvia Mosquera is a Chemical Engineer from the Santiago de Compostela University in Spain and graduated from the PDG (General Management Program) at IESE.

Since 2012 and until now, she held the positions of Chief Commercial Officer at Iberia Express and Director of Strategy, Routes and Revenue Management at Vueling, both airlines members of the IAG Group – International Airlines Group – the parent company of British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Aer Lingus.
