Avianca Wins 'Most Improved Network' Award at the 2025 Cranky Network Awards

  • In its fifth edition, the Cranky Network Awards were presented by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
  • Avianca was honored with the "Most Improved Network" award in recognition of its remarkable route expansion in 2024, the increase in available seats, and the introduction of new destinations in the United States.
  • Additionally, the airline was nominated in the "Sexiest Route" category (for routes under 3,000 miles) for its upcoming Bogotá-Tampa service, set to launch on March 30.

Bogota, March 27, 2025 Avianca has been recognized with the “Most Improved Network” award at the 2025 Cranky Network Awards, presented by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The airline received this recognition for its network growth in 2024, the increase in available seats, and its new destinations in the United States.

Avianca now operates 21 direct routes between the United States and Latin America, including Miami-Medellín; Orlando-Medellín; Nueva York-Pereira; Nueva York-Medellín; Guayaquil-Nueva York, Quito-Nueva York, Fort Lauderdale-Medellín; Cartagena-Miami; Cartagena-Nueva York; Cali-Miami; Cali-Nueva York; Bogotá-Tampa; Bogotá-Chicago; Bogotá-Miami, Bogotá Orlando; Bogotá- Nueva York; Bogotá-Washington; Bogotá-Fort Lauderdale; Bogotá-Dallas; Bogotá-Boston; and Barranquilla-Miami.
