Please note that:
● The personal item and (10 kg/22 lb) carry-on baggage are included in the fare you purchased.
● The Light fare is available on all international flights, and the Basic fare is only available on domestic flights.
Checked baggage with other airlines
The number of checked bags shown corresponds to the total of the baggage included in the fare plus the additional piece according to your status, when your itinerary includes segments operated by avianca and other airlines.

Please note:
● If your elite program is Star Alliance Gold and Ouro or Diamante from Smiles, you are entitled to 1 additional piece at no cost on flights operated by Avianca, as long as your fare allows it (Basic and Light fares do not qualify for this benefit). Therefore, if you show up with more pieces than allowed, they will be subject to additional charges.
● If you are a LifeMiles elite member, remember that the number of additional pieces you receive as an elite benefit varies depending on the airline operating the flight. Any extra pieces beyond the indicated allowance will be subject to charges.
● Star Alliance Gold members flying in First or Business Class and traveling with two or more Star Alliance member airlines may carry up to 2 pieces of carry-on baggage.
- Additional baggage benefits apply to tickets purchased and tickets redeemed with miles, according to the fare selected.
- The additional checked baggage benefit for tickets purchased under the Basic/Light fare does not apply to members with any elite status.
- The additional checked baggage benefit for Star Alliance Gold members applies to all fares, except Basic/Light.
- The additional checked baggage benefit for elite members does not apply to sports equipment.
- The additional checked baggage benefit for business fares applies only on flights with an available Business Class cabin.
