Cuban sandwich

You’ve definitely heard of this fast food delicacy, so, even when you’re not in Havana you can enjoy it, and feel like you’re on a beach in the magic city.

    Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Cuban bread or baguette
  • 3 slices of roast pork
  • 3 slices of ham (York or cooked)
  • 3 slices of Swiss cheese
  • Pickles
  • Mustard
  • Butter

    Directions:

  1. Brown the roast pork slices in butter.
  2. Halve the loaf of bread and spread a generous layer of mustard on one side. Put on the sliced pork, then the ham, pickles and Swiss cheese.
  3. Cover with the other piece of bread, and butter both sides. Put the sandwich in a sandwich press or on a grill and press to brown and melt the cheese.
  4. Enjoy!
