Put the heaviest items at the bottom of the suitcase to prevent the clothes from creasing.
Pack your shoes in plastic bags so they don’t soil your clothes.

If you secure your bag with a lock, plastic or other mechanism, the authorities may be forced to break it or force it open. This is a security measure to avoid transportation of dangerous goods, forbidden substances, objects or unauthorized items that can pose a threat to the safety of the flight. Remove the tags from previous flights.
Label your baggage inside and outside with the identification sticker, which you can request at the check-in line and fill out with your name, phone number, area code, e-mail and the address at your destination.
Check that the number of baggage tag stubs you receive belong to the number of checked bags and keep them with you until they’re requested at your destination.
Poorly packaged items can be received with a Limited Liability Sticker.
If you are traveling and have a connecting flight, remember that your baggage will be checked until your final destination only if all your flights are part of the same carriage contract. That is, if all your flights are registered on the same ticket. Otherwise, you must pick up your baggage and re-check it in for the next connecting flight.
We recommend you verify the baggage policies for each airline you are flying on before traveling. Also, at airports where possible, and if the authorities allow it, baggage can be checked a maximum of 4 hours prior to the scheduled flight of departure. If the customs regulations allow it, baggage will be checked through to the final destination.
Sometimes for international flights you’ll need to collect your baggage at the connection point (especially in the U.S.), go through the customs control, and give it back to the airline for your next flight.

For your safety, never agree to remove, look after or carry bags for strangers.
Claim your baggage as soon as you arrive at the destination airport.
Make sure the baggage tag matches the stub you were given.
If you’re not able to locate your baggage on arrival, you must notify a member of the baggage staff before leaving the airport. They’ll explain the procedure to deliver your belongings.

Add something extra to your baggage to make it look unique (a sticker or colored ribbons for example), to avoid having another passenger take it by mistake at the baggage carrousel.
Arrive at the airport well before your flight so you can carry out the Check-in process in complete calm.
We strongly advise you not to exceed the capacity of your suitcase or try to force it to close, as doing so may lead to damage when it is handled.
If it is possible, weigh your baggage at home and remember its weight when checking it in.
Otherwise, verify the weight of your baggage when delivering your baggage at the airport’s check-in modules.
