Miami, June 2, 2026 – Avianca continues to strengthen its presence in the United States ahead of the World Cup festivities hosted in the country. The airline announced the launch of its new seasonal direct route between Guatemala City and San Francisco, which will be available starting today through August 31, 2026.
This temporary service will offer customers four weekly frequencies and more than 1,440 seats per week, operated on Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers, expanding travel options for both leisure and business between the two destinations.
